Scones

In a bowl, mix the flour with the baking powder, salt, make a hole in the middle, add the diced cold butter and start kneading until it is incorporated. Add the beaten egg with the sugar and milk. Mix with a spoon and then start to knead a homogeneous dough (if necessary add flour). Wrap in cling film and let cool for about 30 minutes.

Spread the dough on the floured table, cut circles with a glass. Place in a tray lined with baking paper (I put almonds on top)

Put the tray in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, until it gets a little color on the edge

Let them cool well, then cut them in 2 and serve them with jam or whatever we want.

I powdered them with vanilla powdered sugar.
